The first floor of this light-filled, loft-like complex is given over to 21 stalls of varying sizes, purveying everything from barbecue, sliders, pizza, and tacos to sushi, naan wraps, and shawarma. A notable stop: chef Tiffany Derry’s Roots Chicken Shak, where a five-minute wait brings you hot, fresh duck-fat-fried chicken strips, Cajun-spiced wings, fried chicken sandwiches, and fries or salads. We also sampled a Madame Du-Berry dessert crepe at Whisk & Eggs. If you love macarons, don’t forget to check out the colorful array at Haute Sweets Patisserie. The rest of Legacy Hall’s three floors is given over to bars, outdoor terraces, and indoor seating, as well as a play space for the kids and a live music stage. The complex holds more than 1,200, so big parties are welcome.
