Austin Tea
Watch out, coffee culture—tea sippers are nipping at your brew. Case in point: the new storefront for Austin’s Zhi Tea is now open at 4607 Bolm, near Boggy Creek Farm. Australian owner Candice Oneida is ready to educate Austinites on the virtues of drinking 100 percent organic loose tea and can help newbies understand the distinctions between leaves of oolong, black, white, and green. Check the website for updates on the store’s monthly tea tastings.

Brut
The waft of a scent can be so evocative: that first college road trip, the cute guy you kissed on Padre, the bread your mom baked. When I get a whiff of a strong oakmossy scent mixed with musk and sandalwood—the smell of the ever-so-classic Brut Cologne—I immediately think of early girlhood crushes, my uncle’s riding horses, and my grandfather at breakfast, all good, happy things. And for $8.49 at Walgreens, those are memories anyone can afford.

Bottega Veneta
One of our favorite fashion houses, Bottega Veneta, celebrated its thirtieth anniversary last month with a cocktail party/charity fundraiser at its NorthPark Center store in Dallas. A bevy of fashionable beauties flocked to the scene to peruse the exquisitely chic interior and rummage through leather goods, jewelry, and ready-to-wear—and to view a traveling retrospective exhibition of BV’s Knot clutch. Bag Snob’s Tina Craig, who declared the iconic clutch one of her must-have items last fall, made an appearance alongside Natura Bissé’s Gigi Howard.

Kiehl’s Facial Fuel
Facial Fuel, Kiehl’s collection of men’s products for the face, has added two new items to the line. The No-Shine lip balm ($8.50) is great for those masculine types who wouldn’t be caught dead with a shiny pout, and the Anti-Wrinkle Cream ($35) is an oil-free moisturizer designed to combat pesky fine lines.

Estée Lauder
Even if you’re not bound for the beach this summer (sadly, I’m not either), maintain a sun-kissed look with my new favorite bronzer from Estée Lauder’s appropriately named Bronze Goddess collection. A touch of the liquid works great on legs and is perfect on the face if your skin is on the dry side. For oil-prone skin, the powder compact, with its wide-reaching fan brush, delivers a natural brown color without any of the shimmer you may prefer to avoid.
