Don’t Mess With Dublin Dr Pepper

The end of Dublin Dr Pepper has Texas social media consumed with grief, outrage, and talk of boycotts.

It doesn't matter that the drink we knew as Dublin Dr Pepper isn't really going away (or that a lot of it was not bottled by Dubin Dr Pepper in the first place). It's a part of Texas history and of a Texas town's identity. You don't mess with an icon, especially in these parts, and judging from the (still-raging) activity on Twitter and Facebook, the Dr Pepper Snapple Group in Plano has a lot of unhappy customers (and former customers) on their hands.
