We all know the Internet is made of cats, and the latest kitty meme to bubble up is a Tumblr called “The Kitten Covers,” which reimagines classic album art in feline form.

Willie himself (or at least, his Twitter person) has already dubbed “Kittie Nelson” (above) to be “cuddly.” Other standouts have included “Smewmon and Catfunkel and this John Coltrane/Bruce Springsteen twofer titled “John Kittentrane and Cuteness on the Edge of Town.”

Site creator Alfra Martini of aymvisuals is not currently accepting submissions, but here are five more classic Texas music albums we would like to see get kittened.

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Texas Flood

Don’t you just want to see a little pair of paws wrapped around that Stratocaster?

Chingo Bling, Chingo Bling 4 President

No cute name revision necessary: “Chingo Bling” is already a great name for a cat.

The Sir Douglas Band, Texas Tornado

Ripe for retitling both the album (Texas Purrnado) and the artist (The Sir Dog-less Band).

The Best of Buddy Holly

It doesn’t take a genius to see how the cat picture would go on The Best of Kitty Holly.

The Butthole Surfers, Locust Abortion Technician

Yeah, we know, this one is just wrong on every level, but it’s hard to resist renaming the band to “The Cat’s Butthole Surfers.”

One obvious omission? ZZ Top. Frank, Dusty, and Billy didn’t make a habit of appearing on the band’s best album covers, but we’re pretty sure there has to be some cats out there who have the whiskers for it.
