From the people who bring you Prairie Lights, Halloween Nights is a new family-friendly event specifically designed for kids, young adults and adults who seek a not-so-scary, but oh-so-fun activity for Halloween.
The walk-through event full of dazzling lighted displays and playful fun activities is open nightly from 7-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 7 – 11 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Oct. 24 to Nov. 1, at QuikTrip Ballpark at Grand Prairie, 1600 Lone Star Parkway, home of the American Association 2008 Southern Division Champions Grand Prairie AirHogs.
Entrance fees are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and younger payable by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.

The Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture is holding a book signing + discussion about “Bordertown: The Odyssey of and American Place,” by SMU professor Dr. Ben Johnson and Dallas photographer Dr. Jeffrey Gusky. The book tells of an unknown but iconic story of Hispanic American power, patriotism, and political identity in Roma, Texas.
