Moonshine is the only libation at the Rio Grande Distillery, and Jerrod Leon Henry, who has been featured in the popular Moonshiners television series, will proudly share his hillbilly culture with you. Order this to go: Ease up to the bar and order any one of the Moonshine Mixers, like Apple Pie or Strawberry Lemonade, to combine with the very smooth moonshine (also available to go) made on-site in Henry’s 120-gallon copper still. You’ll need food with that, so order a hot ham and cheese, a Texas cheesesteak, or a pulled pork, which Henry smokes over oak and pecan behind the distillery. Pro tip: Look for drink specials on the weekend.
