10 slices of bacon yielding 6 tablespoons bacon fat
2 microwave bags unsalted/unflavored popcorn
2 teaspoons finely ground chipotle powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
Rough chop 10 slices of uncooked bacon and cook on medium heat in a skillet stirring occasionally. Cook until crisp, strain, and place over a bowl to reserve bacon fat. Microwave 2 bags of unsalted/unflavored popcorn following instructions. Place popcorn in a large bowl. Mix bacon fat with chipotle powder and sea salt. Slowly drizzle mixture over popcorn while spinning and toss gently. Garnish with the crisp chopped bacon.
