In Texas, we pride ourselves on being game changers, especially when it comes to business.
We want to not only adapt to new technology and consumer behavior — we want to drive those changes. At the C. T. Bauer College of Business, we welcome visionary thinkers and aspiring entrepreneurs to the ranks of our student body.
At the graduate level, the Bauer MBA gives students the tools needed to be agile, thoughtful and innovative, whether working within an organization or building their own businesses. Our students graduate ready to make an immediate impact on the local economy.
Take Bauer MBA alumnus and Houston native Ryan Soroka, who is part of the next wave of leaders in the city’s food and beverage industry. He graduated with a dual MBA and MS in Hospitality Management in 2011, using the knowledge gained as a student to launch 8th Wonder Brewery, which sells craft beer with a local point of view. Over the last five years, 8th Wonder has grown from a concept to a profitable business focused on customer service and quality. Soroka also owns and operates Eatsie Boys Café and Food Truck, based in the Montrose area of Houston. Soroka is one example of Bauer alumni who have leveraged the education and connections from our MBA program to build an innovative business, rooted in Houston and in Texas.
