I believe the most important change we could make would be to eliminate tenure. Judge educators based on their students’ ability to become employed, successful businesspersons and make significant contributions to the communities where they live and work. Pay-for-performance is the correct method to retain the best and brightest teachers, who will educate and advance students to reach their full potential and become productive citizens.
