Texan actress Junie Hoang is making headlines after filing a lawsuit against IMDb for revealing her true age, a fact she believes could damage her career in an industry that favors the young.

Michael Cieply of the New York Times got wind of the story and wrote an article about Hoang’s lawsuit, but in a nearly unbelievable twist of irony, the paper had to publish an embarrassing correction to his piece:
In her lawsuit, filed in the United States District Court in Seattle, Hoang alleges that IMDb obtained her birth date from her credit card records and posted it on her IMDb profile

Hoang is a graduate of Texas A&M and a B-movie actress whose body of work includes roles in Gingerdead Man 3: Saturday Night Cleaver, Ungirlfriendable, and the role of Zombie Postwoman in Z: A Zombie Musical.
