Emily Kimbro
Emily Kimbro is the design director for Texas Monthly. She grew up in Lubbock and graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in graphic design. Previously, Kimbro worked in Dallas as the art director of Southwest Airlines Spirit Magazine and a designer at Fossil. She also served on the board of AIGA Dallas/Fort Worth for five years. Her work has been recognized by the American Society of Magazine Editors, the Society of Publication Designers, Print Magazine, Communication Arts, Society of Illustrators, and the City and Regional Magazine Association. She lives in Austin with her husband and two fluffy Australian shepherds, where she likes to spend her free time searching for undiscovered swimming holes in the Texas Hill Country.
