Melissa Reese

Melissa Reese joined Texas Monthly in 2017, leading the in-house agency Texas Monthly Studio. In 2022, she joined the editorial team as director of video and events, overseeing the expansion of BBQ Fest in Lockhart and the new integration of longtime travel show Texas Country Reporter. Melissa studied film and journalism at the University of Texas at Austin and currently resides in New Braunfels where she’s become a total river rat.
