Associate editor Paul Knight joined the staff of Texas Monthly in 2011, and for much of his time at the magazine he has worked as a fact-checker. Knight was previously a newspaper reporter for the Press-Register, in Mobile, Alabama, and for the Houston Press, where his work was recognized by, among others, Investigative Reporters and Editors and the Association of Alternative Newsmedia. Knight grew up in Wylie and now lives in Austin.
