Hot Luck and Alamo Drafthouse’s Rolling Roadshow present: The Three Amigos

On Sunday, March 3, the three amigos behind Hot Luck Fest are partnering up with Alamo Drafthouse’s Rolling Roadshow for a one-night screening of The Three Amigos at Community First! Village (9301 Hog Eye Rd., Austin, TX 78724). As a kickoff party to Hot Luck Fest, the 2019 chef and music lineup will be announced after the screening. Spearheaded and founded by James Beard Award-winner Aaron Franklin, Guerilla Suit principal and Mohawk owner James Moody, and Mike Thelin, co-founder of Feast Portland, Hot Luck Fest is a DIY casserole of the culinary and music world.

Doors for the event will open at 5 p.m. and the movie will begin at 7:00 p.m., with food from Franklin Barbecue and Eldorado Cafe. Aaron Franklin and Joel Fried are collaborating on a menu to include an enchilada platter including a brisket or cheese enchiladas, smoked carnitas or vegetarian tostada, and rice and beans. Tickets are $25 for the movie only and $50 for movie and food; they can be purchased {HERE}.

Back for its third year, Hot Luck Fest is the premier culinary and music festival in Austin that features a series of customizable events with live music and the country’s top culinary talent. Hot Luck’s most popular ticket, the Whole Enchilada, is currently on sale now and can be purchased {HERE} at special early-bird price. This limited ticket includes access to all food events with early entry and priority access to all music shows. It is also the only way to get into the industry kick-off on Thursday, the opening day of the fest.
