Texas Football vs. Kansas

Texas Football hosts the Kansas Jayhawks at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium for UT’s annual Veterans Recognition Day game.

Each year as part of its Veterans Recognition Day, Texas Athletics pays special tribute to those who have served our country. Pregame activities include commemorative coins and camo caps distributed to veterans during Fan Fest; U.S. Army’s Golden Knights parachute team; and the Texas National Guard 149th Fighter Wing F-16 flyover. Plus, don’t miss the special halftime performance by the Longhorn Band.

Come early for Texas Football Fan Fest (2 p.m.) and enjoy live music with School of Rock, local food, interactive games and TVs tuned to the day’s college football coverage. Join the Stadium Stampede (official team arrival) at 2:45 p.m. at DeLoss Dodds Way and Robert Dedman Dr. The Longhorn Band holds a 4 p.m. pep rally at Winship Circle.
