Following the success of Bevo Blvd. and Longhorn City Limits, Texas Athletics announces the addition of Smokey’s Midway for the 2019 Texas Football season. Located on the north end of DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium along DeLoss Dodds Way, this fan experience is the perfect bridge connecting Bevo Blvd. presented by H-E-B and Longhorn City Limits presented by ATX Web Designs.

Smokey’s Midway features a variety of midway games with great prizes, interactive attractions, unique fair-style food, additional food trucks and beverage stations, and also provides fans access to The Frank Denius Family University of Texas Athletics Hall of Fame.

Bevo Blvd. presented by H-E-B, an action-filled pregame street party, opens five hours prior to kickoff with Texas-sized fun for Longhorns fans of all ages! Several enhancements to Bevo Blvd. greet fans this season:

• Increased number of local Austin food trucks from six to approximately 12 per game
• Increased number of beverage locations throughout Bevo Blvd. and Smokey’s Midway, including the addition of a craft beer barge and a margarita van
• New exclusive merchandise options at Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop locations
• Longhorn Network’s Texas GameDay live broadcast originates from the north end of Bevo Blvd. beginning two hours prior to kickoff
• The Bevo XV Parade presented by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance starts at the north end of Bevo Blvd. when Bevo arrives three hours prior to kickoff
• Brand-new Texas Longhorns-themed inflatable games for families to enjoy

Texas Football gamedays are still the center of the “Live Music Capital of the World” with Longhorn City Limits presented by ATX Web Designs, the gameday concert series on the LBJ Lawn. This season, LCL sees the addition of the Deep Eddy Lounge, a brand new cocktail garden featuring unique Texas-themed drinks for fans 21+. In addition, fans have the opportunity to get photos with the new Longhorn City Limits oversized guitar monument and exclusive LCL merchandise at the Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop.

Longhorn City Limits is free and open to the public; lawn chair and picnic blanket friendly (no dogs, please); and no game ticket is required.

Alternative rock veterans Gin Blossoms hit the stage at Longhorn City Limits with three decades of experience wowing crowds. Their breakout album “New Miserable Experience” saw their popularity soar, anchored by hit singles “Hey Jealousy,” “Found Out About You,” “Until I Fall Away” and “Allison Road.” To date, the Tempe-based band has released six albums including their latest project, “Mixed Reality,” in 2018.

Joining Gin Blossoms is rising Texas Country act Drew Fish Band. The band, known for their high-energy performances, is currently working on their third LP, “Better Place,” following the success of “Treat You Right” and “Playin’ With A Flame.”

Fans can also enjoy happy hour pricing on Bevo Blvd., Smokey’s Midway, and Longhorn City Limits including $5 16-oz. domestic beers, $6 16-oz. premium beers and $5 wine spritzers.

Bevo Blvd., Smokey’s Midway and Longhorn City Limits close 30 minutes prior to kickoff to allow fans with game tickets time to enter the stadium to see the Longhorn Band’s pregame performance.

Inside the stadium, Texas Athletics has added even more ‘fan first’ pricing on concessions. The 2018 menu featured lower prices on 10 total items, while the 2019 offering expands to include 22 of the most popular gameday concessions items at an average discount of 30%. The ‘fan first’ pricing allows a family of four to purchase a typical gameday meal for $28 or less.

Season tickets, mini plans and single game tickets are still available at or 512-471-3333.
