In February 2017, Texas Monthly and Infiniti presented a culinary road trip through the pages of Texas Monthly all in one special evening showcasing a roster of acclaimed Texas talent.
The evening began with a walk-around tasting featuring: Jeff Balfour, John Brand, and Tim Rattray. Artist Cruz Ortiz showcased his artwork and screen-printing at the event. Live music was provided by Doc Watkins, musician, and owner of Jazz, TX. As the main feast, guests entered a seated dinner with cuisine by: Johnny Hernandez, Hugo Ortega, Rene Ortiz, and Jesse Perez, paired with live music by Doc Watkins, musician, and owner of Jazz, TX. The evening concluded with a magical dessert presentation by Jeremy Mandrell and Anne Ng of Bakery Lorraine.
