Don’t have time to pop over to Milan? Then pop in to Nordstrom for your fix of Italian style.
In a fabulous collaboration of fashion and international trade, eight Nordstrom stores in Texas are showcasing an amazing gamut of Italian goods. Nordstrom director of creative projects, Olivia Kim worked with ICE, the Italian Trade Commission, to curate this collection of fashion, accessories, eyewear, jewelry, home décor and fragrances. “We wanted to really celebrate Italian fashion and culture,” said Kim, noting that she and her team of trend spotters were looking for “what’s new, what’s emerging, what’s coming up, and filtering that down to what could be great for Nordstrom.”
The resulting mix includes more than 140 brands—many new to the U.S. market—all bearing the trademark stamp of stunning design and impeccable craftsmanship that is intrinsic to “la dolce vita.”
Now through October 31, shoppers will find special “We Love IT” tags that spotlight the featured goods—more than 2000 products will be on display. This is just the first of two phases of the “We Love IT” campaign. Looking ahead to spring, expect to see Pop-In Shops in Nordstrom locations in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio that will bring fresh new Italian brands and products to Texan.
