No. 7 Rethink Summer Classics

Try our new takes on American summer classics.

Nothing says summertime like the classics from our youth: root beer float, soft serve ice cream, or the old-fashioned lemonade stands. Some of Pearl’s creative culinarians are reworking these classics with new twists, ingredients and an eye on being both delicious and better for you. One Lucky Duck is featuring weekly lemonade specials made from local seasonal ingredients fresh from the farmers market, such as watermelon and peach. The Granary is offering beer floats with their in-house ice cream and house-crafted beer, and Local Coffee offers cold-brewed iced coffee on tap.  Lick Ice Creams is slated to open in August, serving old-fashioned, hand-crafted ice cream that is single-sourced from Mill-King Market & Creamery and incorporates only local products like Texas olive oil, dark chocolate, sea salt and Poteet grown strawberries. And Green offers a wide selection of vegan cupcakes.
