Top Reasons to Explore Pearl this Summer

No. 3 Take a Taste of Local and Far-Flung Beers

Check out the on-site breweries and carefully curated beer programs in many of Pearl’s restaurants.

For over 100 years, Pearl was producing great beer on the banks of the San Antonio River, and the history of the place almost demands a reprise of the art and craft of beer making. Check out Brewmeister Alex Rattray brewing on-site at The Granary, where they feature seasonal and classic iterations like their Rye Saison. Soon to open, Southerleigh, which is located in the original brewhouse built in 1894, will feature a larger scale brewing operation with 8-10 in-house beers on tap, brewed in full view of patrons by Brewmeister William Les Locke Jr. Cured, Arcade Midtown Kitchen, Nao, Boiler House, Il Sogno, Blue Box and Sandbar all have prodigious and carefully curated beer programs to delight even the most well-travelled and discerning beer maniacs.
