Predictions about who will be on Texas Monthly‘s Best and Worst list for the Eighty-third Legislature are already flying. And thanks to the hard work of everyone in the editorial and art departments (it really is a team effort), we’ll finalize the magazine story today. Like every session I’ve covered for the magazine since 1975, there has been plenty to write about.

As we did in 2011, we’ll be releasing the names on @TexasMonthly‘s Twitter account, beginning at high noon on Wednesday, June 12, and the complete story will be available online the following week. I won’t show our hand here, but feel free to speculate in the comments and revisit over our 20112009, and 2007 lists.
