One of the most anticipated events this spring is the Live @ the Lakefront Series taking place March 11, 18, and 25, along the shores of Lake Charles featuring live music, an outdoor art market, food trucks, and family-friendly fun. The Downtown at Sundown Concert Series follows May 13, 20, 27, and June 3, with a variety of festivals and events in between. Another crowd favorite for art-lovers is the Spring Art Walk which also showcases music and dance in addition to art vendors that take over downtown Lake Charles for a perfect afternoon and evening of artistic expression on April 30.

Later this month, the PGA Korn Ferry Tour Lake Charles Championships will take place March 21-27, at the County Club at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles. The Korn Ferry Tour is the pathway to the PGA, so everyone can cheer on the competition. Golf lovers will also enjoy checking out Mallard Golf Club which is a brand-new course in the Lake Area. Also, The Max Restaurant at the National Golf Club of Louisiana is making delicious waves on social media with the traditional Louisiana cuisine with the right sprinkles of spices and flavors.

Nightlife in downtown Lake Charles is getting a boost this March with the much- anticipated opening of the Panorama Music House! This venue has been completely refurbished and now includes a rooftop bar. Luna Bar & Grill downtown also features live music and a jazz brunch on Sundays. While you are in town, be sure to swing by Crying Eagle Brewing Company for beer, wine and spirits and delicious selections from The Bistro.
