Located on North Padre Island, this coffee shop and gallery is made up of ten colorful shipping containers. There is a pet-friendly patio with a surplus of seating perfect for an afternoon study session or catching up with a friend. They serve homemade syrups, cold brew on tap, and all of the hot or iced coffee beverages you could desire. The baristas are friendly and personable, and the beach vibes make you feel right at home.

Eleanor Coffee Bar + Market 

This adorable coffee spot is minimalistic in design and provides a calming atmosphere from the moment you enter. Providing pastries, snacks, juices, teas and a wide range of coffee beverages, Eleanor’s welcomes you like family and leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. We walked out with peppermint tea and the Lamar Park green juice in hand.

BUS (Bar Under the Sun)

This former Greyhound bus station turned stunning bar provides Corpus Christi with a gorgeous space to enjoy a beer, a glass of wine, or a craft cocktail from their list of specialty drinks. There are lawn games, food trucks cycled throughout the week on the patio, and plenty of TV’s to relax and enjoy a cocktail with your friends. The aesthetic and design are truly unmatched by anything else in Corpus Christi, as the bar tiling, the palm leaf wallpaper and patio furniture are all beautifully unique.

BUS (Bar Under the Sun)

The Gold Fish

Located downtown, around the corner from BUS, this 1930’s gas station is now a welcoming outdoor bar serving up specialty drinks, local craft beer, and cocktails. Known for the margaritas and sangria, The Gold Fish exudes a true Corpus Christi beach vibe with its arched steel-and-glass doors, beautiful exposed brick, and welcoming bartenders. It also had the one of the best old fashioneds in the city.

Bien Mérité Bakery

Bien Mérité is a small, bright, chic bakery inspired by the quaint atmosphere of a typical French cafe. The menu consists of a plethora of fresh-made pastries, croissants, breads, chocolates, matcha teas, and coffee options that will truly make you feel as though you are in Paris. The colorful flower wall is the perfect backdrop for an Instagram photo, whether it be of a pastry, latte, or a selfie.

One of downtown Corpus Christi’s newest additions, this welcoming space serves up biscuits, waffles, grain bowls, and other pastries. They also offer beer, wine, coffee, and of course, mimosas during brunch. You can find an array of healthy eats to choose from when you’re looking for something clean and light — like the greek yogurt bowl, topped with fresh fruit and granola.
