The Cameron Park Zoological & Botanical Society will be lighting up Cameron Park Zoo in Waco this year with its first annual holiday lights event. Wild Lights is being presented by Reliant and brought to you by TFNB Your Bank for Life.  Wild Lights is scheduled to run November 26 through January 9, 2022, Wednesday through Sunday nights.  This lighting event will be Waco’s largest holiday light show with over a quarter of a million lights to light up the Zoo’s inner loop.  Santa will be located under the Zoo’s pavilion in the Meadows area and will be available to children of all ages November 26 through December 23.  In addition to the thousands of lights there will be Christmas carolers, hot chocolate, coffee, and games for the guests.  Don’t worry, during all of this excitement the animals will all be safely tucked in their beds each night while visions of hay bales, fruits, and meats dance in their heads. Proceeds will be allocated to support Zoo improvements, including the new education building, veterinary hospital, and penguin exhibit.
