This South Congress outpost of the Chicago-based restaurant boasts an inviting deck shaded by stately live oak trees, but for now we’ll enjoy Top Chef alum CJ Jacobson’s lavishly buttery za’atar-topped flatbread and silky roasted garlic hummus at home. Order this to go: Creamy hummus topped with chunks of crispy short rib, grilled onions, and a sherry-infused beef jus is a soulful comfort-food starter. Follow that with the shawarma-spiced skirt steak, which comes with a cucumber-tomato salad, and the lamb and beef kefta with basmati rice and house-made tzatziki. For a boozy refreshment, take home the Mediterranean Mule, with herb-infused vodka, almond, and Galliano. Pro tip: For easy pickup, there are a few designated parking spots just inside the garage of the Music Lane development.
