A taste of Mexico City arrives in town in the form of a bright, modern food court, nuevo mercado–style. The fast-casual presentation consists of multiple counters (this can be daunting at first) from which to order specialties such as tacos, enchiladas, tortas, fish dishes, rotisserie chicken, and aguas frescas. A big hit on an early visit included traditional tacos al pastor, with a perfect pineapple-cilantro-onion balance atop and assorted salsas alongside. We also savored perky, texture-rich shrimp ceviche (served in a wide bowl with a crown of avocado slices) and thick, creamy, chorizo-studded queso flameado riddled with pico de gallo. Fresh tortillas, both corn and flour, get high marks, as do the crisp tostada chips. Particularly refreshing drinks include the cucumber-lime juice (also available as a margarita).
