A new addition to the Peached Tortilla family, Bar Peached has taken over the breezy, treehouse-like space once occupied by Winflo. Outside is inviting patio seating; inside it’s a midcentury-modern dream, complete with wood paneling, cactusy wallpaper, and a portrait of Lady Bird Johnson. The thing here is cocktails and shareable plates, all enlivened with bright, fresh flavors and colorful ingredients like watermelon radishes and purple pansies. Combine a foamy Kyoto Kiss (gin, yuzu, and raspberry) with the Cheese Corn, which feels like a mix of creamed corn and queso flameado, served with corn tortillas. The New Chapter cocktail, with rum, pineapple, and roasted tomato, plays nicely with the fried whitefish, a crispy filet served with an herb salad, cilantro chimichurri, and sriracha mayo. Overall, a lovely atmosphere and delightful food.
