Bella Mia

The chef at Bella Mia is from Colombia by way of New York, where he was raised by Italian and French parents. Today he is a culinary school graduate with an Italian bistro in San Juan, Texas, where he prepares everything à la minute with only the freshest ingredients available. We enjoyed the shrimp in pink vodka sauce with fresh spinach and baby portobello mushrooms over linguine. The eggplant Parmesan had a perfectly crunchy crust under a red sauce with chunks of fresh tomatoes.
