We were disappointed when Bella Mia, a San Juan hole in the wall known for reliable, fresh Italian food, closed its doors last summer. But fortunately it has reopened, in Edinburg, with the same fantastic menu, including standards like lasagna, chicken Florentine, and, our favorite, linguine bathed in a vodka cream sauce studded with shrimp, fresh spinach, and baby portobello mushrooms. As with the previous location, the room isn’t fancy, but the food makes up for it.
