We were convinced that we had been transported to our favorite Boston oyster bar until we remembered that we were gazing out on Tyler’s downtown square rather than the Nantucket harbor. The aura of this spot is not at all lacking, and it’s as intimate as the square footage would suggest (16 feet by 100 feet). With our delicious cocktails, we indulged in oysters (Raspberry point, Humboldt Gold) and a charcuterie plate piled high with decadent cheeses, fresh vegetables, toasts, and crisps. Beef carpaccio was thinly sliced, lightly seasoned meat, a perfect follow-up to the shellfish.
