Bravery Chef Hall, a collection of small, chef-run food counters, helps answer the question, What shall we have for dinner tonight? We were pleased with all of our choices at BOH, an Italian concept from chef Ben McPherson, formerly of Krisp Bird & Batter and Batanga. We split the large, prettily plated beet salad, delicious with a yogurt accent, orange segments, and hazelnut-mint gremolata. Ditto the Little Gem salad with a perfect lemon vinaigrette. Generous pastas are also easy to share: a simple-sounding but sublime spaghetti with tomato passata, basil, and Parmesan, made with a delicate egg pasta, had an intoxicating garlic fragrance and buttery flavor. Pizzas come by the slice, and we relished the mushroom combo with a puffy, charred crust, creamy ricotta, and truffle. BOH’s tall white counters and chairs are inviting, brightened with large vases of fresh flowers.
