If you didn’t read the sign’s tagline—“Plant Powered Asian”—you might not notice that all the dishes are vegetarian or vegan. You can add tofu to your bowl of noodles, rice, or stir-fried vegetables (or an okay-but-not-very-convincing faux meat). Start with a summer roll, move on to one of the combo bowls. Kung pao eggplant tastes true to tradition; the yellow tofu curry is creamy and colorful. It’s all quite mild, so you’ll want to add your own heat. Bubble teas are offered, vegan versions too. You order at the counter, but even so, the service can be a little lackluster at this bright, kid-friendly place.
