This is a food truck currently parked at Slate Mill Wine Collective, but the classic Cajun cooking makes it worth eating with plastic utensils! And the wine pairings are spot-on. Order this to go: the catfish platter. Literally, the best catfish we have ever eaten (and we are serious recreational diners). A feather-light batter cooked to crispy perfection in perfectly heated oil surrounds tender, moist catfish filets. The basket comes with a small school of filets and taste-bud tingling tartar sauce, plus a generous helping of french fries sprinkled with lively Cajun seasoning. Red beans and rice (with sausage) and bold boudin make for a bon temp feast. Pro tip: Access to the truck is dependent on the winery’s hours of operation, so be sure to double-check (by phone) hours.
