An authentic Hungarian restaurant was the last thing we thought we might find on a rural East Texas highway outside Kilgore. But Brigittta’s authenticity is unquestionable. Brigitta and her husband, Mike, rely on recipes developed by his great-grandmother Juliana Csabai to craft  this small but decidedly yummy array of Hungarian dishes. The blend of meats and spices (Hungarian paprika is like no other) rolled into cabbage leaves was delightful, and the “spaghetti” was novel but lovely; we could see how the black beans with dumpling noodles could easily become addictive.
