Dining Guide

Cafe Dijon

An offbeat French outpost has settled into the Lincoln Heights area, and we have feasted happily so far. Top billing has to go to the Duck Club, a sizable wedge of said fowl in a brioche-like bread, but also notable is the hefty roast beef sandwich with horseradish aioli. Weekend brunch can be a good time to visit: the fried avocado eggs Benedict was a new twist on that old standard, while the Southwest Tostada with eggs, bacon, and black beans brought a whiff of Mexico into the rather Parisian atmosphere. Don’t miss the pastries, including éclairs, Key lime cheesecakes, and chocolate hazelnut tortes, to name but a few.
