Café no Sé
A patio spot is the way to go at this chic SoCo cafe. We hungrily dug into creamy hummus with toasted pita bread dusted with sesame seeds and savory spices. Next, we rolled up our sleeves for a juicy double cheeseburger with extra-crispy bacon. We loved the chicken Milanese with extra-spicy curry broth, which we combined with a side of roasted carrots with crumbled feta and tahini sauce. Sadly, the poke bowl didn’t quite come together; while the tuna was plump and fresh, it was overshadowed by the pickled jalapeños that had been stirred into the mix. Somehow we managed to save room for a trio of house-made ice creams; the “cookie monster” flavor was the best. The wine, beer, and cocktail menus are well-curated.
