Dining Guide

Cappyccino’s

Just across the sidewalk from Cappy Lawton’s flagship, this little sibling is the place to go when time is short or happy hour is nigh. Here soup, sandwich, and salad choices (or combos) are anything but pedestrian. The Rueben, thick with pastrami, melted Swiss, and red cabbage kraut on a mild black bread, is a marvel to behold (and even better to taste); house-made potato chips add the crunch. The white chili is our go-to for fall, but the spicy Asian salad gives a hot-weather lunch just the zing it needs.
