The look says sports bar but the food says gastropub. One of the busiest spots within the new Shops at Clearfork, it’s a large space filled with wooden booths, high-top tables, and TVs, and the menu offers plenty of intriguing libation-friendly dishes, starting with cornmeal-battered white cheddar curds, fried just to crisp and good for swishing in fresh tomato coulis. Garlicky grilled jumbo shrimp join sweet roasted beets, pickled onion, and baby kale in a salad that makes a good pairing with an Italian rosé, one of several wines on tap.
