You could make this stylish bar and lounge a stop for drinks and a quick nosh, or stay longer, filling up on shareable plates. We did the latter, choosing from eighteen savory offerings. The latest venture from Greg Katz, the restaurateur behind Beverly’s (located right next door), has moody lighting, cozy banquettes, and a cool patio, making it perfect for cocktails. We enjoyed the refreshing Passionfruit Vodka Fizz and the bourbon-based Golden Hour, with bittersweet notes of herbal amaro. Don’t miss the excellent Mini Wagyu Smash Burgers (a plate of three). Bigger and better than any sliders we’ve had, these juicy burgers starred white cheddar–topped patties brightened with house-made, sweet pickle–horseradish relish; even the soft-yet-sturdy seed-topped  buns impressed. Another favorite was the mini meatballs, enhanced with minced soppressata and a light tomato sauce. We abandoned the dull whipped ricotta dip in favor of tempura green beans.
