Yet open the door and you enter a light-filled sanctuary. Colorful plates parade by, some original, others updated classics, and all tantalizing. Our crispy hush puppies served with Thai basil crema set the stage for the BX Taco, a scallion-turmeric-coconut crepe filled with seafood and pork belly. The evening’s star? A dreamy tofu mushroom curry, one of the best bites of the year.
