Long gone are the days when El Paso was just enchiladas and tacos. On the western side of the city, chef Ji Hong is making seafood dreams come true. The six-page menu is dizzying, but just dive on in for dishes like grilled calamari accompanied by a sweet orange chile sauce and salmon shioyaki (salt-grilled). You will find your West Texas comfort zone with the Jalapeñoholic, the pepper stuffed with spicy tuna, cream cheese, and avocado and then deep fried. Soups and ramen are fabulous.
