A fixed menu of staples is always offered, and there’s a changing assortment of soups, quiches, casseroles, and desserts weekly. Order this to go: Cranberry pecan chicken salad and slightly spicy pimento cheese make sandwiches a joy again. Feeding a family is a pleasure with sour cream–chicken enchiladas, pot roast and twice-baked potatoes, and Tex-Mex spaghetti. Best are the weeks when squash bisque and white chicken chili are on the soup menu, and chocolate chess bars and cherry cobbler are on the dessert list.
