Gohan Japanese Fusion
From the owners of Ohana comes simple, unpretentious Gohan, serving Japanese fast food in a shopping center across from Texas Tech. You’ll pick your base, protein, and sauce to create your own meal, which also comes with rice and a bowl of onion soup, which was, surprisingly, a show-stopper, with its bold simplicity (it’s apparently a favorite among the college kids, who find it aids in hangover recovery). We loved all the sauces but especially recommend the spicy Korean. We also recommend the egg rolls filled with flavorful pork and vegetables. They came out hot, fresh from the fryer, and the perfect mix of crunchy and soft.
