Dining Guide

Halcyon

Adjacent to a children’s museum in the Mueller development, this light-filled coffee stop is a fueling station for excited children, overly stimulated neighborhood canines, and the exhausted caretakers of both. Cortados and cocktails keep adults sane, and the menu appeals to young and old alike. The brunch menu includes the likes of lemon ricotta pancakes (albeit served with a lurid Robitussin-hued fruit syrup) and variations on eggs Benedict; the one with chunks of fried chicken smothered in cream gravy is particularly tasty. There are flatbread pizzas and a host of kid food to appease at other times of day.
