It’s a joy finding authentic Thai flavors deep in the heart of the Hill Country. The menu is brief, but the food is freshly prepared and hits all the right notes. Shrimp spring rolls have a slight tang from lightly pickled veggies, and the green curry is spot on, with bright green beans and tiny eggplant (heat levels range from 0 to 6, with 2 designated as “medium”). The Banh Mi in a Bowl is a pleasingly light variation on the food-truck staple, with all the usual ingredients except the bun. We’re expecting this place to get even better now that the father-son duo who run it have found their brick-and-mortar home.
