Dining Guide
Kata Robata

Even with new contenders opening regularly, Kata Robata easily remains at the top of the heap. Folks keep coming for the competent service, pretty setting, and extensive menu of super-fresh, reasonably priced Japanese dishes (happy hour makes a thrifty and nifty way to experience the menu’s range). The bigeye tuna poke may be the best we’ve ever tasted (including in Hawaii), and other favorites include the lobster and vegetable tempura, the pork dumplings, and the shishito peppers served on skewers with ponzu.
