A tiny, family-owned operation brings good Indian cuisine to the Wedgwood neighborhood, with solid variety and plenty for the vegetarian to love too. Order this to go: Nepalese-inspired chicken momo (deep-fried dumplings) are a worthy starter alongside crispy samosas packed with potatoes and green peas. Our favorite korma is the one studded with tender, boneless lamb bathed in a velvety almond curry; our top biryani choice features goat and spicy rice offset by chopped red onion, cilantro, and cooling raita. For another curry option, the chickpea-onion chana masala is the winner. Pillowy garlic naan doesn’t pull any punches. Pro tip: Online ordering is easiest, as the phone lines stay a bit busy. Be sure to order at least 45 minutes before picking up, or ask for one of the delivery options.
