A few mezcalerias have popped up in town; this one is from the folks at popular El Come Taco, two doors down, and serves the same authentic street fare (we loved the fish tacos of beer-battered tilapia with tomato, cilantro, and sour cream). Sultry, dark, and intimate, this no-frills bar captivates with agave-based creations that are not for the meek (like fermented, creamy white pulque). But there are also ice-cold Jarritos, Mundets, and Cokes in bottles.
