Nashville hot chicken has become trendy in recent years, and at Lucky’s, tenders and wings are the things, ranging in heat from barely there (Kinda Lucky) to killer (Best of Luck). Order this to go: Try a combo plate: two wings and two jumbo white-meat tenders with a soft pan-fried crust, accompanied by slightly sweet collard greens and a slice of Texas toast, which itself carries a whisper of heat, perhaps something added to the butter. Pro tip: Do not overestimate your tolerance for capsaicin. We like spicy chicken wings, but the mild (Feelin’ Lucky) had our eyes watering.
