The poke craze is unleashing unorthodox proteins on the popular bowls. Besides offering the classic raw fish, this stylish fast-casual spot also offers cooked meats and shellfish as toppings for the rice and greens. We enjoyed the Kula Pork bowl, starring flavorful pulled pork, shiitake mushrooms, pineapple, and cilantro pesto. The yellowfin bowl was tasty too, sparked with mint, cilantro, and peanut sauce. Blistered shishito peppers drizzled with shichimi sauce went down easy with a cocktail on the patio.
