Dining Guide
Mediterranean Turkish Grill
Turkish cuisine rivals other Old World culinary traditions with its tabletop of nibbles, complex stews, and pilafs. This modestly furnished family-owned restaurant has an impressive menu illustrating the A to Z of Turkish cookery, each dish nicely portioned for a table of friends to share. We started with a meze platter of hummus, ezme, cacik, and eggplant-based sauces to slather on light-as-air bread. Next we fought (nicely) over a mixed grill of lamb, beef, and chicken; kofte (spicy meatballs on skewers); and stuffed eggplant. You’ll find friendly servers and both Turkish patrons and newbies happily reaching across the tables here.
